A small tool for a real task

Find what changed
between two CSV files.

Choose a unique column, such as a product ID. Get the changed, added, and removed rows in one clear result.

01 / Add your data

Before and after

Paste data or choose two UTF-8 CSV files, up to 1 MiB each. Commas separate cells. Use a header row and a unique, non-empty key. XLSX files are not supported.

Keys and cell values match exactly. Spaces and number formats count.

The sample is ready. Compare it to see one change, one added row, and one removed row.

Know the rule

A key connects the rows.

Use a column that identifies each row once, such as SKU, email, or invoice ID. Row order does not affect the result. Duplicate or blank keys stop the comparison so you can fix the source.

Read the result

Small differences stay visible.

The text 10 differs from 10.00. A space also counts. If a column appears in only one file, matching rows count as changed. Reordered columns match by header name.
